“The name ‘muso’ just came to me one day. I was trying to think of a name that could be a recognisable High Street franchise, while still being recognised as a music shop. I really hate shops that name themselves after the owners, like ‘Joe Bloggs Music’ etc. It’s an exercise in ego stroking and should have been wiped out in the 50’s. ‘muso’ sums it up beautifully. I’m a muso, and the shop is for musos. What could be simpler”
